Reporting to the Chief Pilot, the main responsibilities of the RPAS Pilot are:

• Pilot (operate) company unmanned helicopter systems (RPAS)
• Operate on-board RPAS systems
• Prepare, write, and carry out flight plans
• Carry out sales demonstrations
• Carry out customer pilot training
• Writing of technical reports
• Contribute to modifications or improvements to the RPAS with the engineering team as part of research and development.

• Ability to fly RPAS safely and in multiple flight conditions
• Ability to follow detailed operating and flight test procedures
• Ability to communicate technical information
• Team spirit
• Sense of organization and method.

• SATP Pilot Certificate – Advanced Operations, issued by Transport Canada
• Commercial helicopter pilot license (CPL-H or ATPL-H)
• SATP flight experience
• Minimum 1,000 flight hours on helicopters
• Proficiency with MS 365 office suite
• Spoken and written languages: French or English (at a minimum, the candidate must master an advanced level of spoken and written English)
• Training in test engineering, test pilot or AME an asset
• IFR qualification and experience an asset
• SATP BVLOS flight experience an asset
• Military experience an asset
• Flight reviewer qualification for SATP, issued by Transport Canada, an asset
• Experience as a pilot trainer or check pilot (ACP) on helicopters, an asset
