Reporting to the Director of Flight Operations, the main responsibilities and tasks are:

• Maintain aircraft (Class B unmanned helicopters) and components in an airworthy condition;
• Ensure that the work performed on any aircraft or component is in compliance with recommended standards, Canadian Aviation Regulations, company policies and procedures;
• Troubleshooting of mechanical systems;
• Participate in flight tests;
• Participate in the development of the maintenance program;
• Participate in the development of the maintenance training;
• Participate in the documentation development of the IPC, AMM and Maintenance Schedule;
• Participate in the manufacturing of equipment as required;
• Respect budgets and schedules;
• Maintain shop equipment.

• Ability to work on tasks that require good judgment and quick thinking;

• Ability to detect errors and/or omissions;

• Methodical approach.

• Must possess a current Aircraft Maintenance Engineer license (AME M1, M2 or E), recognized by Transport Canada;
• Proficiency with MS 365 office suite;
• Spoken and written languages: French or English (at a minimum, the candidate must master an advanced level of spoken and written English)
• Ability to work outdoors;
• Posses a valid Driver’s license;
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs;
• Strong knowledge of CARs;
• Functionality in a second language (French or English);
• Minimum 2 years experience as an AME, or AME apprentice; preference given to those with helicopter experience.
